CLAIR Mental Health
Support Service

PSG is a confidential listening and resource service run by JETs for JETs to help support participants in their lives in Japan. PSG is staffed by trained volunteers who are available every night of the year from 8:00pm to 7:00am via telephone or Skype caling. All calls are confidential and so callers can remain anonymous.

Counselling Assistance Program
CLAIR offers a partial subsidy (50%, up to ¥30,000 per year) for counselling costs incurred through consultation with mental health professionals in Japan or abroad not covered by health insurance. For more information or to receive the application form, please consult your supervisor.

Online Counselling - Skype & Webmail
Online counselling is anonymous and the password can be found in the monthly emails from CLAIR.
Skype Limit: 7 calls/year
Webmail Limit: A new session is required for every exchange.
                        (word limit 4000 each)

TELL provides effective support and counseling services to Japan’s international community. TELL is an accredited and certified non-profit organization. Their services include free phone and chat counseling, professional face-to-face evaluations and therapy, and community-wide programs. TELL volunteers undergo 12 weeks of training and callers remain anonymous
